Next Great Drummer & Sam Ash Music Free Monthly Drum-Off Competitions The Next Great Drummer Show in Partnership with Sam Ash Music Stores holds monthly FREE Drum-Off Competitions and FREE Concerts at local Sam Ash Music Store locations. The FREE Drum-Offs are the brain child of world-renowned drummer Eric Seats and his business partner Chrystal Allen-O’Jon. The purpose of these shows are to provide a safe, yet fun forum for youth and young adults to show off their drum skills and network with other drum professionals and peers. Contestants are judged by award-winning producers, who offer constructive criticism to encourage and inspire growth. These events will be held annually with the help of local and national sponsorship. Mr. Sammy Ash, C.O.O. of Sam Ash Music Stores , says of the shows, "I am thrilled about the success of the NGD events. We have seen some incredible drumming from people we have never even seen before. All ages, sizes, genders, you name it. There is so much undiscovered and underappreciated talent out there and Chrystal and Eric have helped us find the key to getting them into our stores.
